To Get To The Redstone Arsenal OktoberFest Volksmarch 2001 on Redstone Arsenal,
Alabama
FROM NASHVILLE: Take I-65 south into
Alabama to the I-565 exit. Go east on I-565. As you pass the Space and Rocket
Center, you will see the Jordan Lane Exit on the right. Go South (right) on Jordan
Lane. Jordan Lane becomes Patton Road. Continue South on Patton Road, through
the Redstone Arsenal Gate (Gate 10), to the first Traffic Light (Aerobee Road).
The Event is on the left but Parking is on the Right so, turn Right on Aerobee
and immediately turn right into the Parking Area. Walk across Patton Road to the
Recreation Center and the START POINT.
FROM BIRMINGHAM:
Take I-65 North to I-565. Go east on I-565. As you pass the Space and Rocket
Center, you will see the Jordan Lane Exit on the right. Go South (right) on Jordan
Lane. Jordan Lane becomes Patton Road. Continue South on Patton Road, through
the Redstone Arsenal Gate (Gate 10), to the first Traffic Light (Aerobee Road).

FROM CHATTANOOGA: Take
I-24 to US 72 South into Alabama. As you enter Huntsville, Alabama, US 72
becomes a controlled interstate, I-565. Continue on I-565 until you take the
Jordan Lane Exit. Turn left (south) on Jordan Lane. Jordan Lane becomes Patton
Road. Continue South on Patton Road, through the Redstone Arsenal Gate (Gate 10),
to the first Traffic Light (Aerobee Road). The Event is on the left but Parking
is on the Right so, Turn Right on Aerobee and immediately turn right into the
Parking Area. Walk across Patton Road to the Recreation Center and the START
POINT.
